Question First batch and maybe 1949 or 50?

    Hi All,
I'm Bob and have been mildly collecting Lee Enfields for a few years.
Just got a No. 4 Mk. 2 from a good friend, and it's got the "Regulated by Fulton" stamp.
The serial no. is : PF196xxx. No Date stamp. So I know it's Fazakerly, first batch and maybe 1949 or 50?
    Can someone advise, please?
Thanks for all the great info. that you folks provide.
    -Bob

    No4 Mk2 PF196xxx would have been made in 3/1950.
