A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Want something borderline beautiful Paul. Saw something in EBay, is there problems importing timber from Englandicon, Canadaicon or the states?

Usually not as the wood has all been drastically treated. Others will know but the caution I could think of are the oz customs agents who think airguns are firearms etc and might stop import as a firearm part.
EnfieldResource.com also for wood parts etc, normally I get good srvice from ebay if you can persuade usa persons to export,

Woodwork is not a problem from any country into Oz, even the yanks let the odd bit out.
UKicon and Canadaicon are your best bets, however, don't discard the local supply mentioned, they give good service.

    Dan

I've never had an issue with importing stocks and handguards.

    - P14 stock from Boyds
    - P14 hanguards from ebay in UKicon
    - No4 butt from ebay UK
    - No8 hanguard and stock from ebay USAicon

Customs dec's have never identified the items as firearms parts.

It is a bit of a raffle from ebay.

Local supplier is very good and the Canadianicon Walnut can look great with a little TLC.

Talk with Ned about his walnut stocked Longbranch, he tells me it was his best looking No4.
