    Jungle Carbine

Is it safe to shoot CETME 7.62 in a 2a1 jungle carbine???? i have read that the cetme are identical to the nato rounds but the only difference is the cetme are lighter loads and smaller grain of bullets. seems to me that is logical to be safe to shoot being the nato are hotter than the cetme. any info on this would be interesting and helpful. Thanks very much in advance
