    Question on SMLE Markings

Sorry if this already on a thread but I can't go through 217 pages tonight.
I boiught an SMLE at auction which is with a dealer. The only notes I was able to get were:-
Serial No 33664X. Grey phosphate finish to the receiver and Marked No1 FR50 over a very faint Mk3. A Crown over GR1 and crossed flags or swords. I was wondering if it was an ex South African refurbished one. Sorry I have no pictures or further details. I will try to get some next month.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered.
