    Enfield No 2

I have an Enfield No 2 that is refinished with a coal black finish. Appears entire revolver was dipped. Nice finish but need to know about it. Also SPG stamped into butt frame and etched into front grip frame. Any info would help. Thanks

I spent all sorts of frustrating hours trying to upload photos. No success! Finally just put them on Photobucket and copy the "IMG" link they provide. A click there and a click here and you are done. Crude but effective.

SPG will actually be SRG for South Rhodesian Government, I have a few Enfield Revolvers marked the same. Will proably have some numbers after it.

It might be your lucky day Frank. PM me in a week and I'll see what I have found in the meantime. But don't hold your breath and keep trying elsewhere while I look
