How can a seller sell a rifle with this add???

    Hi,

How can a seller sell his rifle with this description and 1 picture. ????
I emailed him and ask for more pictures and a more detailed description 2 days ago but nothing. ????
PS. Rifle looks nice but I want s/n and markings on the barrel, any rebuild stamp, any markings in sling well, and other questions answered.

    His description in his listing.
( A nice old Inland M1icon Carbine with sling, oiler, and one fifteen round magazine. )

    Dick
PS. Who knows this might be a sleeper. Can't tell much from 1 picture and no S/N.

    Offer him a low ball.
If he bites, worse comes to worse you can part it out.
Hard to tell from this one picture, but sorta looks like it may only have 1 slide dismount knotch.
But so very hard to tell.
Maybe he's gone for the weekend...........

    Good Luck,
    Charlie-painter777

Maybe he doesn't know anything about carbines and just listed what he thought would help sell it.

He probably doesn't know squat about carbines and he sees it as a shooter. He expects some guys to bid a bit, and it will sell. He has no idea that the sum of the parts could be worth far more than the value assembled. It's doubtful that it's as originally issued...
    Regards, Jim

Ask him for a look at the front area on the barrel when you can. He will be able to handle that...

I can't get him to respond to my email's, and I can't contact him except thru the selling site. I may try and get the selling site to contact him or give me his phone but I bet they won,t do it.
    Thanks
