If original, it was made for Rock-Ola by

    Jasper Blackburn Co.
    St. Louis, Mo

They made both the leaf and the base marked BR

I have one in my parts box too, but somewhere in the past it was put on the wrong base.
I've been looking for a base a long time.
Oh well, 1/2 of a good sight anyway.

    Hello
I am having trouble finding out who the MFG of my m-1 was.
Can't find any MFG stamp any where on the gun.
    Any help would be appreciated.

Some commercials have them stamped on the side. Take it out of the stock and look for a small ERMA on the left side of the receiver. Where is the serial number stamped?
