303 ammo paper packs
Hi,
I've been to a few local gun shows and have not been having much luck finding 303 ammo paper packs. Of course, I come across the odd pack of blanks but not much else.
Have they become so scarce that they no longer appear in gun shows or are collectors just not parting with these?
Regards,
Jonathan

Probably a bit of both.
Britain stopped packing ball ammunition in ten round bundles before WW2 although blank, drill and dummy continued to be packed in that way until quite late in the 1950s.
India and probably Canada continued with bundles for ball ammo into WW2 though.
The great majority of it has already been shot, and what is left of the full packets are now quite desirable to collectors. After all, the most recent are going to be sixty or seventy years old now.
