    M1A1 Buttplate, from German Police?

How about this one, as found on GB?

M1A1icon Paratrooper carbine parts original buttplate : Other Rifle Accessories & Parts at GunBroker.com

Says from a police dept in Germanyicon. Original, or not? Looks a little bit different than most I have seen, but then, maybe it actually IS?

Looks like the one the repo kings had made a few years ago. That type of wrapping is typical of repo parts. Sounds like a nice made up story to go with it!
