Carbine Stock ( Need Help ) Quality Hardware

    IBM Carbine S/N 3677925 - Barrel IBM Corp 9-43

This is his description of the stock and handguard

    Stock - Quality Hardware (Rockola) "U", "Q-RMC"
    Handguard - Quality Hardware (Rockola)"Q-RMC"

Stock pictures by montana19x - Photobucket

To me looks not to bad. Do you think the cross cannons look to be fake beacuse they look to good but when I looked in Riesch's book they look like the picture, almost to good no wear.
Also why does the metal of the carbine look like a silver color ( repark job or glare from lights or what ) He also has another Carbine for sale and the color of the metal looks normal.

I almost had a nice Carbine bought last week at a good price ( I had some very good advice from a good guy) and the Carbine had been for sale all day and I was typing that I would take it and I lost the electric power ( storm ), by the time power came back on it had been sold for only 5 minutes but thats how the ball bounces.
Any advice on the above stock will be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Dick
P.S. If you guy's get tired of me bugging you on advice just say so. When I get some thing bought I will post a lot of pictures.

We like the questions, it keeps us old farts minds working[some what]. I think the stock looks very good. The .U. is Underwood rebuild mark. I don't know about the silver coloration, how is it in daylight? Looks to be a nice carbine though. GK

I would say the coloration is from a light or flash on gray parkerizing. The pictures are not the best but it appears to look nice.
