A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. In any case, any of the most modern three that take the modern ammo are great shooters. I shot better with my K11 than my K31 icon

. I would expect to do better with the 1911 but I haven't taken it to the range yet.

Truth is I can't seem to pass anything up if the price is right regardless of its place on my flexiable list. I only wish my intrest and disposable income had peaked when Shot Gun News was full of milsurps of all descriptions (not so long ago) .The picking seems to be a bit thin here . See what shows up next week end.

I believe mine was made in 1958, best I can tell. The bore & outside finish were 100%, all I did was strip & refinish stock with 4 coats of T.O. & 2 coats Johnson's hard paste wax. You will really enjoy this rifle!
