If your camera is that awful, you are better off taking a picture from farther away, on zoom if possible, and then crop and blow up the digital file. Or better yet, secure a camera that works. We can;t help if all we can see is that it's a squarish piece of white material.

Macro and a tripod.

second photos were on macro, have tried zooming in no better, writing on cloth is very faint , not worth buying different camera thank you for your help

Cn you borrow a camera? Or maybe transcribe the markings onto paper and scan them?

I feel like we scared you off and I'm sure that wasn't the intent of anyone here. Things like what you have make all of us extremely curious and it is a bit frustrating that we just can't see it and it's almost there.

If you get a chance, borrow a friends camera sometime. I know I won't personally be able to help you with what it is but seeing it is a way to learn more about these and hopefully, someone will be able to tell you what it is.
