    Enfield Mk 4 question

A close friend is coming into a Mk4 and told me it has a arsenal installed flash supresser. Like I've said in the past I'm kinda new at this milsurp stuff and have never noticed this arrangement. Could anybody out there share some information regarding the use of flash surpressers on Enfield Riflesicon? (please excuse the bad spelling)-SDH

A pic is worth a thousand words...let's see it, there's a lot of expertise on this forum and you are asking in the right place...(I'm not including myself in that btw)
I recently bought a bubbaed No 4 with a flash suppressor, I ended up eating feathers on that one...it was a learning experience although a quite inexpensive one. Beware...I don't believe Skennertonicon lists any such thing and if he doesn't then the milsurp world at large is going to circle the carcass with vultures...I have the peck marks to prove it.

Are you sure it's not a No.5Mk1? The No.4 rifle should not have a flash supressor.
