I notice she opted for the shotgun rather than the .30s or the .50!

Actually that's her gun. That was her wedding present from me, so we had a shotgun wedding! Our first valentines after we married she got an M&P 9mm handgun. So yes she shares some passions. We also have another lil girl Dolly and a farm full of Alpacas! So its never a dull moment around here!!

So is the Alpaca in your profile pic actually one of YOUR alpacas? Lol!

Absolutely love this thread by the way. Something about seeing old war horses getting a little (or a lot!) TLC makes me happy. Awesome, awesome job!

    Very cool rebuild, congratulations.

I didn't realize a halftrack troop carrier had so many machine guns mounted on them. I'm sure in this configuration it was a formidable fighting platform.

Yes thats Connor. One of my first babies born on the farm. He passed away back in Aug of an unknown illness. It killed me to no end, he was weeks short of 5, I never had human children, never wanted them, but animals are my children. he was my lil guy. then if that wasn't a kick in the nuts, one of my best females passed a month later to the day of the same illness. The problem with alpacas are in Canadaicon, they arnt well know to Vets. Also they dont show weakness, so by the time you see they are sick, it usually is a few hours away from death.
So far non of the other have shown anything, and we treated them all for a few different illness's drug wise

Seats should be in the next few months, the upholsters have been calling, they are getting slow. The top canvas hasn't been priced, but if its alot, i will hold off and just use a tarp for crappy weather events

When fielded, the M2A1s came with a 50 and a 1919 with all the mounts there for other guns. It didn't take long before they were all mounted with 1919s in the field.

Very sorry to hear that Andy. Strange that you mention that, because not too long ago my neighbor lost an alpaca due to a disease none of the vets could pinpoint. Luckily he noticed something was wrong and was able to separate it from the other alpaca. They seem to get along extremely well with his horses, which gets him come pretty funny looks when people drive by!
