Three more lee Enfield desporterized :)

    Hi folks,

I haven't been "desporterizing" much in 2012, so I caught up and refurbed three over the past couple of months.

    An Ishapore No1Mk3*:

    A Savage No4:

And a Brit No4Mk2, for which I was lucky to find a nice set of wood:

It was about time I got back to my main leisure activity

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Well the Mrs. sure thinks I have too many! But these are three that will go to other homes. For my own, there's a Lithgowicon No1Mk3* which I'll work on in the next few months.

    Nice Work

    Great Job...have a question?

Will the standard winged sight protector fit on a P-14 barrel ? My front sight protector wings have been milled/cut off.

    Thanks

    GM

That no4 mk2 looks outsanding. And the Ishapore probably looks better now than when it came out of the factory!
