    TT block Carcano Carbine not Gardone marked but "2"

    Yeah, "2" top dead center on the top of the barrel. They went up to TZ so this is near the end. I wonder if this is some sort of nazi administration manufacturers code? Doug

    As my memory serves me, I once read in one of the Carcano books, the "2" signified a rifle or carbine produced and issued by fascist Italianicon Social Republic ("RSI") in northern Italy 1943-1945. They were a puppet state of Nazi Germanyicon and were occupied by same for the duration of the war. Several years ago I had a Carcano M/38 folding bayonet Carbine
