It's A J Parker though, not Parker-Hale.
When I first saw those pictures they reinforced my view of quite how badly Ma Parker (as she was known) had managed the business in her later years.

That's not even the worst of it. For example: No.4(T) boxes rotting in the back yard.

Well I guess that tells us where the company records ended up.
No vision and little effort obviously. To be handed the whole thing, lock, stock and barrel and then run it into the ground takes a special kind of stupidity.
Couldn't even clean up the building properly.
Wouldn't happen in some other countries I could name.

MoD just simply refused to deal with the company as a parts supplier, even for accessories!

Think I mentioned it last time, Its a shame about the machinery, I guess somewhere is the slotting attachment and also the vertical milling attachment for the Tom Senior milling machines as pictured, (these bits are worth more than the whole machine set up in Horizontal mode)

Of course, part of the reason that there was so much stuff left over is that her prices made one's eyes water and so one simply went elsewhere.
