I have this sling on an Egyptian FN-49 rifle but so far I have yet to identify it. Any help would be appreciated

    Thank You

Thank you for the reply What I've not seen is the slider set up that I took a closer picture of. I don't see any markings on the sling

Yep I looked at the link.but from what I saw of those slings they have a much more complicated buckle set up. The original pics were much larger but they were too big to upload

Is there anyway to authenticate the sling. I'm thinking about selling the gun but from what I'm reading the tan slings are pretty rare and sell for between $100-175.

Boy the more I look the more it certainly looks like that sling, but I didn't find any markings on the sling. Did anyone make a reproduction of this sling? I bought the gun 5-6 years ago of gunbroker so I never really talked with the seller and this is the sling it came with. Thanks again for the info!

There's almost certainly reproductions available because the originals get lots of money. I'm quite sure that it's a model of 1923 sling on the rifle, but as to it's originality, you'd have to strip it, take some close pics and then we'll have a look. I wouldn't bet it's original...

I hope these pics are OK. It must be a reproduction. I"m never that lucky. Plus it's one piece and I found zero markings on it

The finish on the buckles doesn't look right to me. I'm for repro too. Doesn't matter though.
