    Krag SRS check?

Hello All, Could someone do an SRS check on an 1898 Kragicon Rifle serial no. 186113. I've had this rifle for many years and after reading a few other posts I thought this one would be a good one to research too. Thanks! Salt Flat

John, Thanks for looking. Really appreciated. Too bad there is no hit as this is my most original Kragicon. I do have three others but they are all cutdown rifles. I just checked the serial numbers:

    138243
    479705
    251145

I would appreciate a check on these if possible, as well. One has a real 1899 carbine stock. I'll try to post some pictures later.

    THANKS! Salt Flat

Hi, 138249 is the only close listing. 26th USV INF. The other two have nothing close at all. It is unfortunate that a lot of Kragicon's were cut down, but people had to put meat on the table any way possible. An inexpensive made hunting rifle/carbine was the answer. Nothing says you still can't enjoy a shooter. John

John, Thank you very much for the SRS check. I agree about the cut down rifles. I have picked these up over the years when I could find them at a reasonable price. I think they still have great history even if cutdown. I can see why the hunters liked them, they are light, handy and the action is so smooth . Salt Flat
