Enfieldish things to do in England in March?

I am having to go back to Englandicon for the last 2 weeks in March to visit a close relative who will not be with us for much longer. While I am back in the motherland (well, I will be visiting my Mum, too), I was wondering if there was anything even remotely Enfieldish to do (militaria shows, that sort of thing) going on in the vicinity of Gloucester while I am there. I have had to sell off a few rifles to pay for the plane ticket, and I have even put my beloved 1941 Long Branch up for the chop, so I would at least like to have done something related to Enfields while I am there.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Not too far away (64 miles from Gloucester) and Cpt Laidlericon would no doubt arrange a 'private' tour.

Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...

Why did I get interested in Lee enfields AFTER leaving Newbury, Berkshire? Why not before???

The Bisley Show looking interesting. I will most likely drag my poor family up to the Leeds Armoury while I am there - my oldest wants to the elephant amour, and I want to see the Littlecote collection (I saw it at Littlecote House before it got moved - quite impressive).

If you are inclined, can give me a little advanced notice, & can get to Sutton Coldfield (Birmingham) you are welcome to pop up here. My garage does not anywhere near equate to Warren's sheds, but the odd nugget of unobtanium has from time to time been found here........

...........and the kettle is always on...........

Well still visit Peter and buy him a pint or two as I owe him one for a favour he did me. Then I will owe you a pint and seeing as you are alot closer to visit my paying you back is somewhat more realistic...LOL.
