Nagoya Type 99 2nd series still staked

I found this Nagoya Type 99 2nd series at a recent gunshow. It’s all matching. The mum is ground but very lightly as can be seen in the photos. The best feature is that the rifle has never been taken apart as all the screws are still staked. It has an odd impression on the side of the stock, that looks like an imprint made by a sling swivel from another rifle. It could have been imprinted while the rifles were stored or shipped, I‘m not sure. It has an original cleaning rod.

Nice! I actually don't come across many "light ground"... Mostly what I see are compelte gound or intact.
I did pick up a "defaced" Mum due to curiosity...
I like the staking on yours!!
Do you have an upclose photo of your cleaning rod? I was looking over one of my originals, and noticed that it was stamped.

Midmichigun, Here's some pictures of the rod. I don't really know much about the rods but in the last photo there is a japanese character stamped on it. Salt Flat
