Well done mate, I think it looks really good. I'm no expert but I think the ENGLAND mark is a US import marking rather than being found on all SMLEs, its found on all Guns imported into the states with the origin being Englandicon after a certain date. The markings on the barrel are British commercial proof marks, the BNP is 'Birmingham Nitro Proof' and the other marks are the pressure spec and calibre spec. These being stamped over the original Barrel stamp.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Good information, the U.S. import is interesting and makes sense. So many stamps on that barrel, they really liked to keep track of their tests and mark everything. I'm in the middle of the second one now, it's much earlier and much more rusty so a lot of work but it should make
a nice rifle. It's 1917, no indication of any wood repairs which is interesting and everything is in parts now, every piece put up a fight. I doubt it had ever been apart. It will take some time to get the bore useful again but I think it will get there. That old English Walnut is really nice to work with, the pores are deep and hold a lot of stuff. Just about there.
Thanks to all on the comments, I've always enjoyed Enfields, getting this deep into them was not on my list but it's been a lot of fun. It's obvious that a lot of pride went into these old rifles.
