    Colt bayo for M16A1

    Hello Collectors,

what do you think of this Colt bayo for M16icon A1 rifle ?
Dealers here state it's original of '70s but I am not convinced at all since the scabbard is made of plastic and not of fiber glass.
Are maybe just commercial and not US GI bayos ?

These bayos are on sale to be matched with M16 A1 rifles
    Colt M16 A1

    Thank you.

    Thanks, that's what I thought.
I own an US GI M7 bayo for M16icon rifles and scabbard looks like completely different.

This MAY be one of those made by Imperial for Colt. Check Bill Humes page at Humes M7_02

It looks like one of the Imperial Colts to me, especially with the crinkle finish scabbard.

I had sent and email to Frank Trzaska and he confirmed it is a commercial bayonet, no worth the money the dealer is asking.
