    #8 peep sight for 1903A1

    Found a number 8 peep sight in a box of peep sights, nice size and not quite as large as the USMC #10.

    Photo shows the very early peep and the number 8 peep, I guess these were used during the 1930's ?Attachment 41007

    Actually, the #8 peep may have been made much earlier. I have an M1903 NRA sales rifle made in 1917 and it has a #9 peep.
