A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Can´t quite make out whether my carbine is stamped ChL or ChR (think it´s ChL).
Have been through Flanders (several times) and it always fill me with dread, seeing all those miles of WW1 military cemeteries where countless Brits, Canadians and other Dominions lost their lives.

No to all of that (especially of being .... Frenchicon). Too young to have been WWII ... or to have used the Metford (just Suez and LE No. 4).

What do you think of the TWO (!) Werder pistols on eGun at the moment?

Can you give us a link to those two Frenchicon sites?

Collecting can be quite a problem here. There´s a special `collectors´ licence, and I don´t know if you can even shoot your collection. No, I´ve just got the one Luger Parabellum (but with a l a r g e number of different barrels in both calibres (9mm & 7.65), shot regularly (usually under the heading `plinking´).
