Curious as to what diameter bullets were in the cases. Have never seen rebulleted 7,35 ammo before. Plenty of 6,5, but not this caliber.

No idea, I don't have calipers and didn't think to check. The cartridges were in an original box and on clips but they were definitely not original bullets. I had read that this was done so they could be used for hunting.

I was curious to see how this would work. After firing a Swedishicon Mauser and a Britishicon Enfield, this one was rough to say the least. I had no extraction issues but closing the bolt on a couple proved difficult and the fourth must have slipped out of the clip before being picked up by the bolt because I had to re-clip it. The clips were loose on the cartidges so I expect while in service with new clips, this hard chambering would not be as dramatic. If the cartidge was solid in the clip, there were not problems but if it was out slightly, bad news.

Nice Carcano. I like the folding bayonet.

It only took me 7 months but I finally got a proper SA marked sling for this rifle. Still have not replaced the front sight. Haven't been able to locate a Finn replacement.
