GCA Response: Gratis DVD

The GCA, as approved by our Board of Directors, used surplus funds to underwrite the production of “America’s Rifle - The M1 Garand” by Semper Vi Entertainment. We are proud of this worthwhile project, and it perfectly aligns with our mission statement. As a bonus to our membership, the Board of Directors additionally approved a free copy of the DVD for current members, those renewing memberships, as well as new members with a cut-off date of 15 December 2012. As a result of an oversight on our part, that information was not posted correctly on our website. A new cut-off date was established as 22 February 2013, and that is the date currently published on the GCA website. It is important to note that unpaid volunteers comprise the GCA leadership in addition to the unpaid volunteers who write, edit and help publish the GCA Journal, our world-class magazine. For those who paid for a DVD that otherwise would have received a gratis copy, please contact our management company, if you desire, to make reasonable arrangements that will make you whole. Additionally, if you are still waiting on your copy to arrive, please be patient with our management team.
