    These blueprints and specifications for the M1911A1 .45 Cal Service Pistol are graciously provided for the benefit of the MILSURPS.COM members by mudpuppy. The original U.S. Ordnance Department blueprints are dated January 15th, 1936 and many of the blueprints show revisions dating throughout the 1940's.
