    SKS Throat Erosion Gauge

Does anyone know what these numbers correspond to or how to use this gauge? It is for an SKS throat reading. Thank you.

Am surprised this wasn't answered...it is similar to my .30 cal gauge. To the left the numbers climb up to .30 cal, and then as you stick it further in, the number continue to the right, i.e. .301, .302, and .303, at which point you have an Enfield

These are inserted snugly, but not too tight. Some tools are for the throat and others are for the muzzle. Mine is a muzzle gauge. Generally the throat gauges have a swivel to make insertion easier.
