    Reloading dies available at Cabela's

I was up at Cabela's last night mainly looking for rifles of which they had none of interest.

I usually walk through the reloading section and scan it for something I have and always come up empty except last night they had Swissicon 7.5x55 dies for $35 which seemed reasonable. They also have Berdan decapping tools which weren't reasonable but no primers that I could find.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Manufacturer of various vintage rifle scopes for the 1903 such as our M73G4 (reproduction of the Weaver 330C) and Malcolm 8X Gen II (Unertl reproduction). When reloading for the Swissicon rifles, there are dies available from different manufacturers. RCBS makes TWO different sets of dies, one for the K-31 rifle and one for the others. The K-11 and IG-11 rifles may, or may not, chamber cartridges reloaded with dies designed for the GP-11 rounds. There is a slight dimensional difference between the GP-11 and the GP-90 cartridge cases.

I use LEE dies, (designed for the k-31) and the reloads work well in my K-11 and IG-11 rifles also.

Most of the ALLIANT powder is made in Swedenicon. However, Reloader 17 (RL-17) is made in Switzerland by the same company that provided powder for those wonderfully accurate GP-11 cartridges. The recommended load is within one grain of powder less than powder taken from several pulled GP-11 rounds. That is a good clue on what powder to use for reloads.

I don't need to. I look so harmless, you'll just carry on dozing!
