    New to me M1922MII...picture heavy

Pulled the trigger on this rifle last week. I have shot it twice, about 40 rounds total and the gun shoots OK. Only 2 problems are the aftermarket magazine (which I had been warned would be a problem) and a weak ejection which may be just me not being used to how this bolt should be operated. Single shots are fine, mag fed is a no go. Here are the pics I promised.

I would not worry about the weak ejection. It seems to be pervasive in this model. I just sort of lean the rifle clockwise whilst drawing the bolt to the rear. It will kick them out somewhat if you try to rip the bolt stop out of the rifle whilst cycling...

Find some ammo it likes and it out to be quite satisfying, accuracy-wise. Probably going to be fancy schancy match ammo, but you never know until you try all sorts of different stuff.

    Kid,
Nice rifle, I'm sure you will be pleased with the 1922's abilities. I have also acquired a 1922 this spring. It is a MI converted to a MII. My results at 25 and 50 yards were similar, dime sized 5 shot groups off the bench.

    Here's a photo of mine.

Good luck and enjoy your 1922.
