    M1 Carbine Sling

I'm looking for a sling for my '43 Inland. Ebay has some but it is hard to tell what is real and what is repro. I have seen a couple that say they are original but the sellers are looking for $200 plus. The marked repros are less than $40. Is that a reasonable price for an original?

I paid $100 for an unmarked khaki (OD #3) one about five years ago.

In the last few years I've bought 3 I believe are real. They have some wear but the price was right. The lowest was under $20 and the most was around $30.To me they look Like they belong on a 70+years old carbine. I just keep my eye open for what I can aford, even if it takes 6 months. GK

The OD #7 are cheaper than the early khaki ones as well and easier to find.
