Question Norinco sks with three Chinese symbols

Howdy New member and threader. I always have questions that I need help with. And it seems like when ever any of my friends have a question that involve a gun they call me. Problem is the only person that ever understands guns the way I do is my little brother. Just wanted some more gun minded people to bounce ideas off, and to learn from. Look forward to talking with everyone.

Now for my first Question I have a Norinco sks with three Chinese symbols, rectangle 0142 production code, 6 digit serial code starting with 23, and "D" suffix in that order. I cant find Any info on The 0142 production plant. Any help is gonna be greatly appreciated.

It's just some Chicom factory, where? Who knows there where/are TONS of them.
The symbols are " type 56 " in Chicom.
