    1911 No 1 MK 3

Just got this a few weeks ago. It has the following markings on it.

    GR
    SHT LE
    III
    2 MD

So far, I've found out it was made at the BSA Co, was in the Austrailian 2nd Military Devision and had a screw added to the fore stock in Ishapore. Too bad it doesn't talk, I'd love to hear the stories and know where and when it was used?
