    Tokarev vs. Makarov

I am looking to get an old milsurp pistol. Personally I appeal to the older weapons (WWII and earlier) but in this case it doesn't matter much to me. Plain and simple which is the better all around pistol as far as collectability, reliability, simplicity, accuracy, ammunitiion (effectiveness, availability, etc...), and possibly a carry gun although it would most likely be a gun that I'd take to the range every now and then. Also, the CZ 52 seems like a good one. Any thoughts or opinions?
    ...thanks

Well, both are collectible as both were made by many different countries. Both are reliable and easy to take down. I would say the Tok has more inherent accuracy for the simple fact it has a longer barrel. Ammo.?? Hands down the Tok wins. Carry.?? That's up to you entirely, I carry a 1911,the MAk is smaller with less punch, the Tok is just about the same size as a Hi Power but slimmer with a wicked fast round. Both have 8rd mags. Don't know about the CZ....

I would imagine the tok has a better trigger too since it is similar to the 1911
