    Swiss 1899 model bayonet

I picked up a Swissicon 1899 model bayonet I think. I got it thinking it was a K31 bayonet but alas it does not fit. It is marked Waffenfabrik Neuhausen and is in really fine condition overall. What rifle does this bayo go to? Also, if anyone wants to trade a 1899 for a K31 or just wants to buy this one, I will let it go cheap.

That will fit on the K11 and 1911 rifles along with the earlier models.

If it were me, I'd buy a nice K11 to go along with it but that's just me.

I have just checked my Swissicon bayonets. The fittings on your 1899 bayonet are exactly the same as the M1914 and M1918. In the UKicon the M1899 is harder to find than a M1918 . I would advise you to keep such a nice bayonet.

Thank you for posting the photograph. Kind regards, Lester
