Exclamation CSP Jouster Web Site Down?

    Hello folks …

Our webmaster account has been receiving a ton of emails about CSP and Joustericon.com.

We gather it's been off-line for a while and indicates some form of error.

Please STOP sending us requests for support in regards to CSP site. In trying to help out the Culvers, we did guest host their site for almost six months, but that was four years ago back in 2009.

We have no idea whether their web site technical issue is temporary or permanent. We'd recommend you keep trying their site link to see if it comes live again, as it may just be a database error that needs to be recovered from when the system operator gets to it.

If you want to contact their site support person, it's listed as pat@northwindwebdesign.com

We checked the domain northwindwebdesign.com and it's showing as account server not found (see pic below), although we have no idea whether that fact is related to CSP's web site outage problems, or it's just an unrelated web site itself.

Again, please don't send us any more emails about their site, as it's something we have no control over and it's been made clear by their ownership and site moderators that we're not welcome there.

    Thanks for your understanding…

    Regards,
    Doug

    Good morning all ....

Once again, our webmaster account has been receiving a ton of emails about CSPicon and their forums not available for a few days.

Please re-read the first post in this thread from last year.

It appears that this time, rather then the account being suspended, that it's just a database error and so we assume someone is working on fixing it.

    Thanks...

    Regards,
    Doug

Not a moderator or owner by any means, but as a CSPicon member, I've never felt any animosity toward this forum. Indeed, you guys saved us CSP members from certain doom in 2009 and I believe most of the CSP folks have always regarded this forum with great respect and appreciation.

    Wait a minute , I resemble that remark !
I am on both forums and have felt welcomed on both . I post WTS over there because this site's system hates me . Badger and the site team has tried to help , but I can't post WTS here. Both sites have lots of good , helpful people and I plan on remaining on both .
Let's not get like 1919A4.com and TOS ( The Other Site ) where if TOS finds your're a member of both , you are banned without warning , cause , or explanation.

    Hello all ....

Once again, our webmaster account has been receiving a ton of emails about CSPicon and their forums not being available for the last 24 hours

This seems to happen every few years. Sorry, we can't help you and haven't been associated in any way with CSP for over 8 years.

Please re-read the first post in this thread from several years ago.

It appears that this time it's just a database error and not an account suspended status and if so, be patient as we assume someone is working on fixing it.

    Thanks...

    Regards,
    Doug

Edit: Good news... it's back on-line this afternoon ...

    Hello folks ...

Once again. we've started receiving a lot of emails sent to our webmaster account asking what's going on with Joustericon and when it will be back up again...

We have no idea whether their web site outage is temporary or permanent, but it appears there’s some kind of in-fighting for control of the board going on, as evidenced from the current Home Screen Web Page.

    Haven't Forgot

    Badger,
Ever give any thought to removing the Joustericon/CSP Archives ?
I guess I just don't see the need for it.
I just don't feel the need for any further obligation.
Why the continued efforts by Milsurps?

Don't get me wrong, it was during the Milsurps 'Free Guest Hosting Period' that I came aboard here and appreciated the efforts put forth by the Surps!
I know other CSP members appreciated it also.

But haven't forgot the fund raising we did here for the Culvers........... only to be accused of being thieves by not forwarding all funds collected.
The name calling.... all the bad mouthing ?
    Anyone remember this?
Now and the multiple times listed above when they have their in fighting, site problems/service, it's us they come to for answers and help.
    DELETE the Jouster Archives.
    Make life easier....
Read my post in the link below,

Pat, the Joustericon system administrator wrote this today:

In an effort to solve the personality clash dilemma, I have purchased the domain name Welcome to Culver's Shooting Page, If for any reason you do not wish to follow the forum to this address, just email me your username and I will delete your account. If you do wish to continue as a forum member, please change your site address to Activity Stream - Jouster2 Shooting Page Forums and click the link!

Jouster members...your choice. Leave Milsurps out of this, it's not their beef. I personally enjoy both forums.
