Did Our Milsurps Just Jump In Value?

I think our Carbines and Garands just jumped in value since der Fuhrer just decreed that they can no longer be imported except by the government, which he controls. His puppet, Biden, actually said that these weapons don't need to be on the streets. When was the last time (or first time) anyone heard of an M1icon Carbine or M1 Rifle being used in a crime? I remember one incident fifty years ago involving Patty Hearst after she was brainwashed by the SDS (or whomever) and used a sawed-off carbine in a bank robbery.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. I am not sure but I think that is only one of his proposals and not a law. I have to confess when I read the articles and the bill that it does get confusing with the way the language I used. I do think this is only a bill and a very long rough road to follow before possible passage. If I need to be corrected, I do welcome that.

This is something he claims to have the authority to enforce by executive order. It makes no difference as he hasn't allowed them to be imported since he's been in office, the South Korean Garands have been in limbo for years. It only affects US owned surplus firearms. And to be perfectly honest, it makes sense to ban the import of these by private companies. The United Statesicon government OWNS them. They were not sold, they were loaned and when the countries in question don't want them anymore, they are supposed to return them, not try to sell them. They would go directly to the CMPicon for disposal.

It has no affect on Russianicon firearms.
