I tried it when I first got my Enfield. First reload had several case separations. Brass is the worst I ever used. My advice is to pitch them. No trouble with any other common brand.
    Good Luck

I have to agree whole hearty, SB brass doesn't hold up well. Prvi partisan is good stuff.

bummer, oh well I only bought 20. I'll pull the sp and powder tomorrow and load a FMJ and 39gr adi2208 and see how they do, I cant use sp on the range Im at FMJs and target projectiles only.

Im going to use privi for one gun, but I have 3 so far so dedicating one manufacturers brass to one gun would have been neat....

Fired these, no issues at all, except reloading needed 2 secs with my rcbs crimp remover. Possibly if they failed on the first shot it was a bad batch? They seem to weigh more than my 1943 brass and the necks are a bit thicker...2 thou or so. Anyway I'll fire them til they start to look ropey or start to fail.

    regards

... and the base of the cases varies in size. But the ARE cheaper here than most other brands.

Absolute crap! I won't even pick up once fired S&B .303 Britishicon cases at the public gun range. The ammo is good for those who don't reload, actually pretty good, just don't bother to try to reload it. I have had several friends bring their various Lee Enfields for me to remove broken cases from their chambers. Some part of this is due to the S&B rim thickness of .056 rather than the SAMI spec of .064 and their use of very brittle brass alloy to make their cases. Shoot once and throw away!

Agreed the S&B is just that an S of a B if you attempt more than a couple of reloads sometimes not even that if your 303 has a large chamber
