A Lee Enfield lover raising $1500 for charity and dressing up as Snow White.

I know the title of this thread is peculiar... so a bit of background.

A few dozen fellows get together at the Eastern Ontario Shooting Club four times a year for a friendly shooting match. For the past three or four matches, members of the Club decided that these shoots would double as a fundraiser for the local food bank - great idea! So we collected each time a few grocery bags full of food donations, and a few hundred dollars.

After the last summer shoot, a few of us started chatting about how to have fun and raise more for the food bank. Somehow the plan evolved into: "Hey, Louis, how about this: if we raise more than $1000, you dress up as a sexy Snow White for the fall match".

(Ok, that may have been my idea)

Well, the result was overwhelming: Not only did shooters at the match give very generously, but we also received donations from all over Canadaicon from other shooting enthusiasts. We raised $1500!!! And that's really what it was all about.

But bonus, you get to see Snow White shoot with a 1943 Long Branch No4... Of course I had to keep my word...

Yeah, I guess the use of the term "sexy" is debatable.

It must be my aging eyes, but, it is difficult to distinguish the tartan in the kilt.

I'm thinking that there would be no fairy tale if Louthepou was a dead ringer for Snow White...

Mothers everywhere are mortified, they have to explain to the children why Snow White has hairy legs and was shooting at Bambi...
