    M57 Question

The magazine of my M57 pops out of the frame after almost every fired round. How can I keep this from happening?

File the top of the slot on the magazine a little to open it up. Sounds like your magazine isn't locking in place fully. If that doesn't work check to see the Mag latch isn't screwed up.
I should add while you have the file out check for burrs in the mag slot.

I think it is the magazine WarPig. I used a different one today with no problems. The problem magazine might be one of the after-market ones from a CZ. How can you know for sure?

Know for sure it's the magazine.??.... File the slot on the offending magazine and try it out. I'm 99% sure that is your problem, probably a knats nut hair off which is preventing the Mag catch from seating...

Thanks. I'll file out the notch and try it again. No, I meant how do you know if the magazine is an M57 one or one of the modified CZ mags?

Filing the slot out a little did the trick. My son and I fired 5 full magazines today with no problems. Thanks WarPig!
