    Irwin Pedersen Slide

    Pictures of Irwin Pedersen type 2 slide. The serial number that this is on is 1774xxx. I have searched for information in the archives here and back issues of the Carbine Club Newsletters, I cannot find much more than a mention regarding the use of type 2 slides by Irwin Pedersen. Wondering if this slide is correct for this serial number.

    On page 420 of "War Baby"

    Operating Slide, Type A, Variation 2 (partial concave cut at rear) Markings/Identification 'IP' (serifs) inside bottom. Used in limited numbers in early production.

    Like so many other questions on the Carbine, we will never know for sure. IP is even a more questionable mess then most others. Mine is in 1777742. Photo gallery above on page 4. Original post info in page 27. Carbine Club # 374. War Baby as mentioned by Jim above. John
