    Original WW2 Russian Army helmet?

How intact is it? Missing just some ties? I have to clean it with oil?

Not a Russianicon helmet ,it's an Italianicon M33 helmet, I would not recommend cleaning with oil, I would leave it as is, or maybe use some warm soapy water and a pad to gently clean it up

still looks good as is, I always liked the old salty look on my helmets

Agree 100% with with bolo.... Original, old patina often ADDS value.

Many WWII items have actually LOST a lot of value, or have been completely ruined by new owners trying to clean them.
