Calico gatling kit with two M1s...opinion on value?

What would something like this be valued at? Not shown is the original mount/tripod, and some extra banana clips with larger capacity. I don't have any better pictures currently or serial numbers, etc., but it is in very nice shape and shows little to no signs of use.

What should I look for or what do I need to be concerned with. Also would this be a reasonable item to hold on to as an investment piece?

When Calico was based in Bakersfield I could have bought one for $125.00. Less the actual carbines of course. Now? I'll bet they are really up there. I haven't seen one for sale in years.

For some reason the embedded pics aren't working so I changed the links back to regular links. I have tried using both Dropbox and imgur links and neither show up when embedded.

Nevermind...got them to work. See OP.

I have seen them sell complete on GB or AA for less than the value of the two carbines in parts. Great to have to talk about but use is questionable. That is why it has little or no use. I'm sorry but I would not waste my money on one.

A lot depends on what carbines are used. The last Calico I handled had two late production Universals.

The one I saw years ago had two Rock Ola carbines.

It's only worth the value of the carbines in it and then a bit less as they have no stocks. As a boy toy it all depends on what someone is willing to pay for it and I do not think they have gone much of anywhere value wise. I doubt it will increase in value if at all.

Carbine on the right is a Saginaw, left is a Plainfield Machine Co.
