Winchester company US Model 1817 parts board

This board is one of three Winchester produced in WWI as a prop for production meetings. Shown is the board for the US Model 1917 .30-06. The other board was for the Britishicon Pattern 1914. The last board had contracted out parts such as the magazine depressor. Photographs have been published of John Browning in Winchester's meeting room with these boards on a sideboard behind Browning.
