    Posting of photos

The procedure for posting photos here seems to be a bit confusing to me. I am just going to attempt to post a carbine photo for the practice.

    an attachment seems promising.

    Now let's try from Photobucket.

By George, I think I've got it!

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. USO, glad to see you made it also. Let's see if I can post here. Not a carbine but a 9-41 S/A Garandicon.

My only M1 Carbine, but it's a Winchester

I only have one M1icon Carbine.
Serial Number 6509XXX mfg. by Winchester in early 1945 with an undated "W" marked barrel. Excellent condition with about 98% parkerized finish with original sling with oiler. It has a bright and shiny bore. It has three 15 round magazines. It has a excellent postwar M2 buttstock and handguard. Not import marked. SA cone flash hider. It was the best one I have ever seen and bought it as soon as I was notified it was available.
