    Enfield No.4 MK2 value?

    Hello Gentleman,

I am a new member on this forum but a long time member of several other gun related forums. I know my question may be irritating to some members here as this is my first post here so I apologize in advance. Some 20 years ago I purchased a surplus Enfield No.4 MK2 rifle SN# PF 323476(F) dated 3/54 with a non matching No.9 Mk1 bayonet SN#332654. I have done some research on it and understand that the rifle is what they call an "Irish contract" rifle. I fired 1ea 20 round box of new manufactured commercial ammunition thru it, cleaned it and put it the safe where it has been ever since. The rifle is in excellent condition 95% or better(sorry no pictures). I was layed off in early October and need to sell the rifle and have no idea of what it's worth. Will you gentlemen please give me an idea of it's value? Thank you in advance.

Price will vary by location, I paid 350 for my Irish contract just removed from the wrappings. Ones still it the wrappings have gone for upwards of 1000. If what you have is almost in new condition I would value it at 500 - 600 IMO
