    9C targets

    I am looking for a PDF or dimensions for the old 9c targets used for Enfield Rifleicon training in Canadaicon, anyone know of a source? I searched a little but didn't really find much.

    It is the Tin hat type target with notch, as in old "Shoot to live" book similar to this;

    I was toying with the idea of setting up a LE shoot at my club, and thought the 9c might be appropriate, maybe with some fig 11's and fig 12's
    Thanks,

    Now I know the one you mean ...

    That is one of the best books I've ever read (and trained with) on shooting the Enfield Rifleicon.

    It's is available in electronic format, professionally scanned (thanks to Ian Robertson), in the Knowledge Libraryicon section Technical Articles for Milsurp Collectors and Re-loaders (click here)

    "Shoot-to-Live" - 1945 (click here)

    Presenting the Johnson Method of Musketry Coaching As Adopted By the Canadianicon Army, Ottawa, Chief of the General Staff.

    I'm not sure if there's some way of extracting the target you mention from it, then figuring out from that what the dimensions should be.

    Regards,
    Doug

    Yes great book, great illustrations.
    I think the 9c was for 30 yds, the dimensions for 200yds are 48" square and with 3.5" "V" ring, 5" bull, 12" inner, 24" Magpie with the outer at 48 I think-not sure. I guess I could scale according to the 200yd.
