spray protectants for firearms and bayonets

I collect WWII as well as Boston Police Guns ( http://www.bpdguns.com is my website for that)
I have used oil for protecting the metal on the guns but now there are a variety of treatments from Renaissance wax to spray products.
I am trying to decide what to use, I currently have a can each of Barricade and Kleen Bore Rust Guardit
Does anyone have experience with any of these?

Here we go!! Asking the firearm community which cleaner or protectant is best is tantamount to asking Blonde or Brunette, Chocolate or Vanilla.
Let's just discuss religion, it's easier to sway guys to your side!!!

FWIW,, I like Ballistol, good enough for the Germanicon Heer,, good enough for me..

I like Blond and Brunette at the same time, but that probably won't work with gun sprays

Nice nice nice nice...I've just used oil to date. You can't really do that with the felt backing...so I'm not much help here. I'd love to go through your gunpile though. Just the kind of handguns that draw me...Warpig and I will be along with a Bourbon bottle and a pizza and help you clean them though...

That is only 11 of the 26 BPD guns, I don't take dups to the shows and this doesn't show the Rugers or the S&W M36 snubbys

these 3 shots are from a recent show, also no dups

Ballistol. You can lightly spray the whole gun with it - metal and wood - and wipe over with a cloth. Done, back in the cabinet and get the next one.
