Info on bore sight / telescope needed

    Howdy !
After a couple months of watching this sight, I finally decided to join and ask for help!

    I have a 1927 MK-36 MOD-0 SER NO 185
It's a bore sight telescope for a 6" gun. On the side of the crate it reads - COND R-2 - Does anyone out there know where I can research what ship, if any, this was assigned to and also what the ( COND R-2 ) stands for?
Also, I haven't been able to find any info on the possible value.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle.
